Okamet 500 mg tablets, containing metformin hydrochloride, are an oral prescription medication primarily used to treat Type 2 diabetes mellitus. They are also used to manage the symptoms of polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) in women. 

Vildamac M tablets (which typically come in 50 mg Vildagliptin and 500 mg Metformin strengths) are used to treat Type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults. This medication helps control high blood sugar levels, especially when diet and exercise alone are insufficient.

They are also approved to reduce the risk of major adverse cardiovascular events (such as heart attack or stroke) in adults with type 2 diabetes who are at increased risk for these events.
